nascar vs nba allstars

the nascar race is coming to town in a couple of weeks. huge crowds expected and media can't blab enough. funny though, no mention of extra police, gang units, in fact no extra security measures at all.

NBA security

Recently cities/counties that wanted to stop motorcycle rallies did so claiming they could not afford the extra police protection (i.e. Hollister and 4 corners). Other than the 1 incident in Laughlin, how many of you have ever even seen a fist fight at a rally? Last weekend the NBA brought their all star game & party to town. The mayor and the media gushed at the fact Vegas has been selected for this circus. Then they acknowledged that all available police were put on overtime. Specialty gang units were brought in from Los Angeles to help with potential crowd problems. My question, who paid for all this extra security? The NBA?

motorcycle helmet laws

i live in nevada. on any one day i can legally get a hooker, and then lose my lifes savings at the sportbook. however, i'm made to wear a helmet for my own good. i'm now 57, will i ever get old enuf to dress myself? for all of you do-gooders that agree with the law, why not wear a helmet when you drive a car? are there never head injuries in automobile accidents? only one answer, you don't want to and are willing to accept the risk.
